We are jumping for joy because Summer is right around the corner. The days are longer, the sun is warmer and PEACHES ARE HERE!
I don’t know about you, but I have already started planning my Memorial Day Barbeque down to a T. The propane tanks are full, the backyard lights are strung and I am patiently waiting for go time.
One of the number one crowd pleasers on my barbeque menu is grilled peaches. They are perfectly sweet, perfectly soft and pair perfectly with vanilla ice cream and good friends. (Although, you don’t have to share. These are so good you might want to keep them all to yourself!)
Grilled Peaches can be dressed up a lot of different ways. My personal favorite is some cinnamon and brown sugar butter. You can also do a maple syrup pecan, or a pumpkin pie seasoning. Or, you can make it savory and opt for some goat cheese and balsamic. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with grilled peaches no matter what fixins you choose!
Here is our perfect recipe for brown sugar and cinnamon grilled peaches.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Melted butter
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 4 Ripe peaches, halved and pitted
- Vanilla ice cream for serving (optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the grill to medium high
Step 2
Brush the cut side of the peaches with butter and sprinkle with the brown sugar. Rub the brown sugar into the butter so it sticks. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Step 3
Place peaches cut side up and grill for 3 minutes. Flip and grill for another 3-5 minutes, or until browned and tender.
Step 4
Serve warm with ice cream
